Education is in need of an overhaul, but I don’t think spending $10 billion is the way to fix it. Our education system is horribly flawed, it is a microcosm of our government in general. My wife taught public school for ten years so I’ve got a first hand view of the problems. Parents and Administrators are the problem: Parents expect schools to do the parenting, and Adminsitrators waste the money they already receive.

Obama wants to improve education, I think every candidate wants to improve education. That’s great. But this election isn’t about that, it’s about the war. Most voters out there are single issue voters and from what I’ve seen Barack’s supporters are more mesmerized by his smile than his content. He hasn’t got much of the latter.

Yes, we are attacked every day in Iraq, but did you know that the number and severity of the attacks is decreasing? Did you know that18 American soldiers died in May, the lowest total of the war and an 86 percent drop from the 126 who died in May 2007. Every American death is a tragedy, but the numbers have turned in our favor. Harry Reid and his ilk have been proven wrong, it’s just a matter of time before they find something else to whine about.

Yea, that stupid O’Bama, how dare he think we should spend 10 BILLION dollars on our public schools so kids can have a textbook that’s not 8 years outdated instead of fighting a bunch of sand rats that breed faster than roaches.

Fact, the United States has spent more money in the last year on the Iraq war than public schools in the last 8 years. I see a problem there.

Yea, I know, freedom isn’t free, but neither is a decent education.
