Please don&#039;t fail to mention G.W.&#039;s contributions to this, though.  His liberal domestic spending was only sustainable short term, and then only when the tax cuts ACTUALLY stimulated the economy and increased revenue.  (Imagine if the GOP would have kept that spending in check between 01 and 06!)  That weakened the levees, so when Hurricane Pelosi came along, disaster struck.</description>
