Hey, if you haven't done anything wrong, then you don't have anything to worry about. Right?
-
That's what all the neo-coonservatives said about the Patriot Act and invited anyone to monitor their telephone calls and Internet activity. Suddenly, their "rights" are being trampled upon?
-
Jesus, do those dolts know what hypocrisy is? Can't they just eat the big serving of crow they cooked for themselves? Whatta bunch of whiners. They sure didn't seem to care about anyone's rights five and six years ago.

I just get so tired of the rants about conservative commentators. If you watch any statist commentator, they're just as impassioned and often not nearly as polite!

You reckon Homeland Security is gonna try to track all those "extremists" at the tea parties in 2,300 cities today? :>)

<i>"Are they investigating people who marched in praise of cop killer Lovelle Mixon (obviously fanned into a murderous rage by Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and blogs who are the mouthpieces of the Democratic Party :>) ?"</i>

Brilliant!!!

I wrote about this too--one of the researchers in that report has a thing about culture and migrant populations--a nudge of course to amnesty. The wording in the report is offensive to any conservative because the language goes far beyond hate groups. Are they investigating people who marched in praise of cop killer Lovelle Mixon (obviously fanned into a murderous rage by Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow and blogs who are the mouthpieces of the Democratic Party :>) ? And they wonder why conservatives give Congress and the prez such low approval ratings. They've declared ideological war on us for sure. Plus Napolitano's big moment was investigating the Oklahoma City bombings. I guess that brings back fond memories for her. Good post--kay

Well, during the Bush era and the warrantless wiretapping and violations of Constitutional protection against warrantless searches, the neo-coonservatives were fond of proclaiming "if you've done nothing wrong, then you've nothing to worry about".
-
Shouldn't that same mindset hold true today? Or has the morbidity of hypocrisy come home to the practitioners of that black craft?
-
So, what's the problem?

Crazy Homeland Security Warning on "Rightwing" authored by Brian Marcus, a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Analyst. Brian Marcus is Analyst, Domestic Terrorism—U.S. Extremism and Radicalization Branch, Department of Homeland Security. This new Homeland Security warning has some of the same information as the "secret" DHS warning that was reported by ABC in 2005 here "Secret FBI Report Highlights Domestic Terror" http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/Investigation/Story?id=681288&page=1 . The new document highlighted by Drudge today is a regurgitation of some of the exact same phrases and terminology used in 2005.

How do these link up. Well Brian Marcus, an Anti-Defamation League (ADL) member, used to work with Brian Levin another ADL member and Director of the Center for the Study of Hate & Extremism at California State University, San Bernardino. Brian Marcus also used to work there in San Bernardino and then went on to the DHS.

Both Brian's, Levin and Marcus, knew David B. Deitch another ADL member whose bio is here, http://www.janisschuelke.com/jswp2.htm# and spoke at conferences with the Brian's and had a relationship with them. David worked for the Counterterrorism Section of the Criminal Division of the Justice Department and is the one who screwed up the trial of the Lodi terrorists, see here http://truthinjustice.org/hamid-hayat.htm . It appears to me that David leaked the 2005 DHS document to one of the Brian's who then gave it to ABC. And, Brian Levin is quoted by ABC in their report.

How did they come to putting out the current crazy report. Well, the initial report came out of the government and ADL following and tracking White Supremacists. The ADL shared data with the DHS and gathered at conferences together. The internet is full of their actions, most of which seem worthy. However, it appears that Brian Marcus' political viewpoint and leanings are now bleeding through in the current crazy report. Until the very young Brian Marcus (you can find a cached version of him with plugs in his balding scalp) joined DHS he was occupied with following online "hate speech" and cyber bullying, particularly of jewish youngsters. All that is fine, but Brian has taken a massive leap from low level net watcher to author of this poorly written and crazy document.

Tracking white supremacists may be a worthy cause but this Homeland Security document is so poorly written it makes anyone who believes in gun rights, is anti-abortion, or dislikes Obama to be a potential terrorist. When you use the term “rightwing” you are using a pejorative term that all conservatives are called by liberals. So to conservatives, like me, it sounds like Brian Marcus is telling people to be afraid of all conservatives. Crazy.

So, when you see FBI agents or others taking your photo or writing down your license plates (as was reported yesterday by a Freeper) know you are going into the DHS database. Make sure you smile for your photo.

PS I wrote Brian Marcus at the DHS and explained that I will be leaving out of the country on vacation for a few days and so I asked him to please not put me on any watch lists as I need to be able to fly to my short cruise. :)
