About Me
Stupidly unnecessary but necessary disclaimer: This is my blog. I am speaking for me, not my employer. If you have trouble with the concept of free speech and/or opinions different than your own, you are free to click on the little “x” at the top of your browser window. What I do, write, say and play come from my brain. Free speech is a bitch. People die to protect it. Stick the Fairness Doctrine, Localism and any sort of New World Order up your ass. And if you think my content is negative, you should see the stuff that doesn’t make it online. America is in trouble folks, these are serious times. If you are going to vote, do our country a favor and pay attention!
Who is The Loud Talker? I’m just a 40-something guy out to save America. From what? From the chaos and political correctness that is eating away the very core of this great country. The traditional press is a liberal beast concerned only about ratings; our politicians are only concerned about keeping their jobs; and the vast majority of the public is practically (ond often willfully) clueless when it comes to the issues, yet they still are allowed to vote. This scares me. My goal is to help educate Americans one at a time. Hopefully they will then tell two friends, and so on, and so on and so on.
The name of this page is in direct response to out of touch babbling of our politicians. Older folks will remember the outrage when Bush I commented on those newfangled supermarket checkout scanners during his presidential campaign. That was nothing. Thanks to the Internet John Q. Public has immediate access to news, and better yet, can immediately respond to such. The Loud Talker was born thanks to two specific comments, both surprisingly from supposed conservatives. U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and U.S Senator Trent Lott (R-MS). Graham, in response to the massive patriot uprising and ultimate demise of a horrible immigration reform bill, asserted that complaints about his support of the bill as coming from “loud folks.” In fact, as part of his speech to La Raza, (the largest Hispanic advocacy organization in the United States), Graham declared that to those opposing amnesty we need to “tell the bigots to shut up.” According to Graham, I’m a bigot if I am against illegal immigration. Right.
Meanwhile, a little deeper in the south, Trent Lott of Mississippi, who supported the same horrible bill, said: “Talk radio is running America. We have to deal with that problem.” If I can quote my favorite blogger and television talk show starlett, Michelle Malkin, “No. You are the problem, Sen. Lott. You and your Republican colleagues more interested in sucking up to Ted Kennedy and Harry Reid than in protecting our borders and sovereignty.”
I hope you stick around and post comments on what you read.
