Government Track Record?

Thanks to HotAir.com member badtemper for this list:

“Reality check:

  • Social Security was established in 1935 – it is broke.
  • Fannie Mae was established in 1938 – it is broke.
  • The “War on Poverty” started in 1964 – $1 trillion of our money is confiscated each year and transferred to “the poor”; it hasn’t worked and is broke.
  • Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 – they are broke.
  • Freddie Mac was established in 1970 – it is broke.
  • TARP shows no signs of impact.
  • Omnibus Appropriations Act of 2009 shows no signs of impact, unless you’re thinking about a career in the IRS.

So class, what’s the common denominator here?”

I add to the list:

  • USPS – broke
  • Amtrak – broke

Government = FAIL!

Where the hell is Joe?

On August 19, 2009, in Politics, by TheLoudTalker

Anyone have any idea where the Vice President of the United States is these days? I thought that Joe Biden was added to Obama’s ticket as the obvious choice due to his international experience? HA! Obama promised change, the he picked a 30yr beltway insider as his running mate. And to think that libtards everywhere were a-scared about the thought of Sarah Palin a heartbeat away from the presidency? Ha! Ha HA!

And to think that he has such conviction, such devotion to his job. In fact, he once said  “I am not running for vice president,” in a Fox interview. “I would not accept it if anyone offered it to me. The fact of the matter is I’d rather stay as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee than be vice president.” Yet another lie from another person associated with the most corrupt and inexperienced president in our history.

I guess it helps to show video and remind the world what a great guy, but lousy VP Joe Biden is:
