Crayola Akbar!

Well, well, well. It looks like oh so compassionate liberal political pressure to release the horribly treated, poor wittle Muslim terrorists that were in Gitmo has once again come back to haunt us. According to Ace of Spades (hat tip to Allahpundit at Hotair.com) “two of the four leaders allegedly behind the al Qaeda plot to blow up a Northwest Airlines passenger jet over Detroit were released by the U.S. from the Guantanamo prison in November, 2007.”

Well isn’t that special…

Remember the cries from the left? Remember the complaints that these people were falsely imprisoned? Well, f*** you lefty, you were wrong then, and only by the grace of God can you not have blood on your hands for pressuring the Bush administration for releasing bastards like these guys.

Allahpundit puts this story into a sad but realistic perspective:

“Allahu Akbar” to “Crayola Akbar.” On the bright side, at least The One has learned from Bush’s terrible folly here, right? Wrong. Bob Gates has been pushing since May to transfer 97 Yemeni detainees to the Saudi rehab program; as of 10 days ago the plan was to send six Yemenis back to Yemen itself with possibly scores more to follow. Any reason to worry about that? Yep: Yemen is notorious for jihadi jailbreaks, from mass escapes like the one in 2006 where 23 AQ operatives went loose to the U.S.S. Cole bomber who broke out of prison twice until finally — I kid you not — Yemen simply let him go after he gave them his solemn word that he’d cool it with the jihadism.

Anyone else having trouble sleeping at night? I’m sure well thought out Homeland Security policies such as not allowing passengers to anything on their lap during the last hour of a flight, or not providing blankets will keep us save. I have complete confidence on Janet Napolitano. ::snort:: I wonder how long until the ACLU or Al Sharpton get involved in this story. After all, the failed terrorist is black. Never mind that he’s the son of an incredibly wealthy bank executive and lived in a $3million home while in England. You see, Barack Obama has been wrongfully trying to tie his Alinskyan “haves versus have-nots” concept to the poor struggling terrorists. Michelle Malkin wrote:

Barack Obama clings, like so many willfully blind, to the myth of the poor, oppressed jihadist in the face of years and years of contrary evidence. The “essence” of the 9/11 “tragedy,” he wrote days after that attack, “grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair.”

I hope more Americans wake up in 2010 so that we can vote out a large number of the out-of-touch insensitive politicians that continue to ignore the people that elect them and pay their salaries.

Janine Garofalo is really, really bitter. It could be her failed love life. It could be her failed radio career. It could be that the only talk show host willing to put up with her insane opinions is Keith Olberdouche.

Sadly the interviewer did not have quick responses to her insipid counterpoint.  She asked where all of the angry conservatives were during the Bush spending years. Janine, we were here, and we were yelling. As usual, the media didn’t report it, which is ironic since they seem to love anyone that rips conservatives. But every major conservative talk show host covered it. Google is your friend.

Allow me to quote Allahpundit at Hotair.com:

My favorite part is when she wonders why tea partiers weren’t out in the streets last year protesting Bush’s then-record budget deficit; a better question, one Griff Jenkins lamentably didn’t think of, is why leftists who grumbled about Bush’s spending aren’t out in the streets now that Obama’s quadrupled it.

Janine, where is your outrage? Let me cheer you up: you are my Jackass of the Week!
